In 1971, SMI founder and Chairman of the Board, Bob Stone, built Systems & Methods, Inc., to provide technological solutions to government agencies.
Today, the second generation of the Stone Family continues Bob’s legacy. They have built upon his vision, philosophy and achievement. Bob’s commitment to service, integrity, and a family –to- family approach of doing business is the bedrock of SMI’s belief that success depends on quality long-term relationships. This commitment is evident today.
| Bob Stone – Founder and Chairman of the Board |  | Bob founded SMI in 1971 and led the company to the forefront of technological services for government and business. Bob led the company as Chief Executive Officer for over 30 years before passing the torch to the second generation of family ownership. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMI. Bob actively participates in the growth and direction of the organization, mentoring the second generation with his entrepreneurial spirit. Bob serves on the Boards of Directors of many companies and is active in numerous civic organizations. He has received many awards of recognition for his contributions to his work and community. | | Tish Stone – Secretary of Board of Directors |  | As Secretary and Treasurer of SMI’s corporate Board of Directors, Tish is actively involved in the financial stability and growth of the family owned business. She served SMI in an executive leadership role from the inception of the company until overall management of the company passed from she and Bob to their sons. Tish is actively involved in the community and participates on many civic boards throughout the state. |
